Go Forth and Slay is a quest in Dauntless. Quests are given by NPCs and provide rewards for successfully completing the objectives.

Quest Information

Kat Sorrel seemed impressed you so quickly forged your new helm and weapon, but that is merely the start. Kat has several other tasks for you to accomplish before she'll consider you for missions in the dangerous Maelstrom beyond the Sheltered Frontier.

• Achieve Slayer Level 3
• Hunt Lesser Drask
• Hunt Lesser Boreus
• Complete The Middleman's quest "Man in the Middle"
• Complete the Bosun's (Markus Boehn) quest "The Amateur Alchemist"

Quest Start:

Katerin Sorrel: "Well, you won't survive the Maelstrom with that equipment, but you're more than ready to head back to the Sheltered Frontier and tackle new challenges. I've got some guidance about where to focus your efforts but you can determine how to accomplish these goals yourself."

"You've proven you can handle Behemoths that feed on elemental aether, so I think that's your next logical step. Build your mastery by hunting a shock-feeding Lesser Drask and a frost-powered Lesser Boreus. You should also talk to the bosun about some useful supplies, and definitely pay a visit to the Middleman."

Quest Complete:

"I'm impressed. It's not just figuring out what the challenges are that's important, but how to accomplish them. And sensible use of tonics and cells will be crucial if you're going to become the Slayer I think you can be."
