Light A Fire is a quest in Dauntless. Quests are given by NPCs and provide rewards for successfully completing the objectives.

Quest Information

Aethersmith Arkan Drew has informed you that he's conceived a lantern design that incorportate the blaze-feeding Emebermane's aetheric essence All he needs to complete his desing is data taken from the lantenrn worn by a slayer who has recently slain an Emebermane. That's where you come in.

Objectives

• Collect 10 Embermane break parts (Lesser Behemoths do not count toward this objective.)

Dialogues

Quest Start:

Arkan Drew: "Slayer this may interest you. I have conceived a design for a lantern that incorporates the Emebermane's infernal aetheric essence into a blaze-infused lantern design. But I need some data from the lantern of a Slayer who has recently defeated such a Behemoth. I believe you may be of assistance in this regard."

"If you can bring me the necessary aetheric lantern data from your Emebermane hunts, I think we shall soon be - how does Mr. Bormen put it? Yes. We will be "in business", Slayer."

Quest Complete:

"I admit, I was not certain this design would function correctly until it was complete. Such is the aethersmithing process - it is by its nature an unpredictable medium. If you have the components, I can now build an Emebermane lantern for you!"
