Into the Maelstorm is a quest in Dauntless. Quests are given by NPCs and provide rewards for successfully completing the objectives.
Quest Information
Your mentor Katerin Sorrel has entrusted you with an airship and, alongside your fellow Slayers, the protection of Ramsgate. Meet with Behemoth expert Dr. Shaed Priyani from the Orrey to learn how her work can help you defend the city.
Objectives
- Achieve Slayer Level 10
- Complete Dr. Pryiayni's quest "Behemoth Studies"
- Complete one of the following:
- Complete Gregario's quest "Claim your rewards"
- Speak to Gregario about the Hunt Pass
- Craft and equip armour with resistance of 275
- Craft and equip a weapon power of 275

Quest Start:
Katerin Sorrel: "Ramsgate is in more danger than ever, Slayer. Time was, this island was far from the Maelstorm and relatively safe. But thanks to the Skyquake - Arkhan's name for it, not mine - the Maelstorm is everywhere beyond the Sheltered Frontier. The chaos has spread to the Behemoths, too. Some have migrated, others evolved. I'll let Doc Priyani fill you in on the hard science."
"Go see what she's got to say, and then get to work improving that gear - your challenges only get tougher from here on out. And be sure you've spoken to Gregario Flynt. One of the ways Slayers inspire people of Ramsgate in this fight is by looking the part, and one of the best ways to look sharp is with a Hunt Pass."
